It gives participants the ability to prepare in the most efficient yet effective manner and provides a practical approach to analysing audience needs.

Course Overview

The Communications Clinic’s Making an Impact course is based on learning by doing.

Our experiential training model ensures behavioural, not just attitudinal change. Every person on the course will be given practical exercises to work on enabling them to present arguments in a persuasive and convincing way.

Those practical exercises will be based on your specific need.

Our training model doesn’t leave people with fancy words for things they still can’t do. It changes behaviours and gets real results.

You’ll leave the session with a clear idea of where you need to further improve, and an action plan of how to do it.

We’ll devise a programme that works for you, your business, your budget and your objectives. If you want to take some time to think about the impact that you are having, your credibility and influence at work with colleagues, customers, other stakeholders then this course is ideal for you.

The course will show you how start any communication in an interesting and engaging manner. It will give the skills and knowledge to structure each section of any input to ensure your audience easily understands and remembers every important point.

Impactful and influential communication isn’t about tips or tricks; it’s about listening, connection and clarity – and that’s what this session will give you the ability to do.

It will look at influencing through developing a real understanding of others. Building rapport through strengthening listening skills and developing a willingness to see things from others’ perspective.

We’ll start by establishing the core learning objectives for your training.

And then systematically work through the skills needed to have real impact and influence those you are communicating with such as active listening and how to successfully craft an argument.

We also look at a longer-term view of impact and influence and offer ways to build and develop trust, rapport and connection with people in a way that truly helps.

This course makes the people in your organisation better and more confident communicators able to structure arguments and points in a clear, concise and persuasive way.

It enables participants to gain a greater understanding of their key audiences and craft their communications accordingly.
